My guy Bowser can cover TEs and blitz.
The apparently good intel was that we would either go Solomon or Mike Williams and then get an EDGE guy before long.

It could be Jordan Willis.

I'll do it a little differently if you don't mind and go position by position.

- Linebacker: Zach Cunningham: I think he can be a stud linebacker for us as he can play the run and drop into coverage.

- Edge: Jordan Willis Kansas State: Produced at Kansas State and had a great combine.

- Defensive Interior: Caleb Brantley, Florida: Had limited playing time at Florida. Could be added to the defensive line and improve it as a good rotational player. Honestly though I am not too high on the defensive interior players to be picked high in the 2nd round. I think it can wait till 3rd or later.

- Cornerback: Jourdan Lewis, Michigan. Although Sidney Jones (Washington) is right there too if not for his injury. Lewis is smaller but I think he is a stud. Can play slot and the outside and can make plays.

- Safety: Obi Melifonwu, Connecticut. Regarded as a combine warrior but his film doesn't lie either. Physical safety and a strong tackler. Seems like a Gus Bradley type defenisve back.

- Running back: Dalvin Cook, Florida State. To me he is the best player left and the best running back in this draft. Wouldn't be surprised if the Chargers go for him if he is there in the 2nd round.

- Wide Receiver: I think this is off the board with the Wiliams pick.

- Tight End: Gerlad Everett, South Alabama. To me he has all the measurables and production to be one of the best receiving tight ends in the game in a few years.

- Guard: Forrest Lamp, Western Kentucky. This is the guy I want. I think he steps right in and is a starting guard for the Chargers. Has the versatility to play tackle if need be as well.

- Tackle: Cam Robinson, Alabama. His penalties are concerning. I think he needs the right coaching and with it can be a high level tackle.

- Center: Ethan Pocic, LSU. I think he is the best center in the draft. Strange that he is 6'6 but has the film to back it all up.

- QB: Deshone Kizer: I wonder if the Chargers would be tempted to take him if he is there. To me if this draft were a year earler Kizer would have been easily a top 5 pick.

If Mixon can keep his nose clean and just stay out of the public eye which I think will be hard to do in LA, he and Melvin Gordon could make a potent duo, thunder and lightning and flourish in Lynn's offense like that of Shady and Gillislee. I could see this happening as he had visited Chargers.

You could be onto something with Willis matches all the Telesco requirements high motor high effort player, team captain also.

In mocking Bowser, I expected Willis to be gone.

Let's see how early Round 2 goes.

Lamp-Robinson are tied at the top of my list-surprised they are there-expect them to be gone.

We still gotta find somebody who can cover TEs, something that Bowser can do well.
