Default RIP George Herbert Walker Bush #41

Damn, I feel like I'm going to miss you.

Skydiving at 90 years old?

Yalie? Baseball player? Played in the first ever College World Series?

Navy fighter pilot? Shot down in WW II?

So much Grace the way you handed off your presidency and mentored your successor.

Forever my Commander in Chief.

Godspeed, sir.

I feel blessed to have met him. I had a field pass at Reliant Stadium for a Texans game back in 2003 and he and Barbara were were reconized at the game. Got to shake his hand and thank him for a lifetime of service.

Amazing man and patriot.

RIP Mr. President

BTW, I was not yet born during his presidential term but I am sure that he did something great for America.

The man had such a life. Achievement and adventure all over the place. But married 73 years and what really shines through is his friendships and his role in his family. Hearing his son, also a President, talk about what a great father he was really moved the needle
