Our adds at G & C should help but adding a good RB with some different skills can't hurt. Jackson wasn't what I expected but he's a Charger and I wish him well.
You’ll be pleasantly surprised by J. Jacks ability to produce yards. While he is not a power runner, he is elusive in small places. He produces yards inside the tackles, speed to get the edge, wiggle to make people miss, a sudden and effective jump cut, patients to let blocks develop, vision to see the hole, and the burst to squeeze through the crack. Justin is a good route runner with good hands and excellent YAC. He’ll also be our best pass pro RB for day 1 of TC. He did this against Big 10 competition with not much talent around him and lack luster blocking at best.

In the late 7th he will vastly out produce where he was drafted. He’ll be a very good RB2.

Ya, Lynn is definitely committed to the run game. He knows the better the run game is, the less Rivers has to throw and the better this team will be at scoring and not turning it over. On the opposite side, we are trying to build a monster of a defense to give our offense additional opportunities and limit the opposing team scoring.

There is still a lot up in the air on the offensive line though. No one really knows how well the new guys (Pouncy + draftees) will perform in the run blocking game. And no one knows how well Lamp will perform after his injury. On paper though, this squad should be much better at run blocking than they have been for a while.

I'm looking forward hopefully.
